Standard Cottages
Our comfortable & affordable, standard self-catering units were renovated in the late 1980’s from one large clay outbuilding which consisted of the barn, stables & an adjoining wine cellar – hence the thick walls which keeps these units cool in summer and warm in winter. These standard units are suitable for young couples on a budget, or smaller families of 3-4 people who don’t want to break the bank but desperately need some fresh country air & braai time away from the city. All units have indoor fireplaces, fully equipped kitchens, fans and outdoor fully equipped undercover braais with potjies.
Pine Cottage
Sleeps a couple & 2 singles (4 pax).
It is one of our standard units which has recently been renovated.
It is fully equipped for self-catering with everything you need, including all bedding (feather duvet in winter), linen & bath towels, kitchen & braai equipment including a potjie pot for the undercover braai on the large stoep.
Pine has an indoor fireplace for winter, and a ceiling fan for summer.
The main double bed is in an alcove off the open-plan lounge closer to the fireplace, and the bedroom has two single beds while the bathroom has a shower.
Fig Cottage
It is one of our standard open-plan units and is fully equipped for self-catering with everything you need, including all bedding, linen & bath towels, kitchen & braai equipment including a potjie pot for the undercover braai on the stoep.
Fig has an indoor fireplace for winter, and a ceiling fan for summer.
The main double bed is in the large open-plan lounge closer to the fireplace, and the single bed is in an alcove to the side while the bathroom has a shower.
Quince Cottage
