Africamps at Pat Busch Mountain Reserve has been voted one of the best luxury camping sites in the Cape 2018, by ‘The Inside Guide‘ this week.
Glamping has become an ever popular way of getting away with friends and family for a weekend. Everyone loves to connect with nature, but not everyone enjoys the mission of packing everything from the tent to the proverbial kitchen sink!
What is Glamping any way?
Glamping offers all the comforts of staying in a room with the experience of sleeping out in nature. Think air-conditioning, a comfortable bathroom with a hot shower, a cold fridge, crisp white linen and even an indoor fireplace! We’ve thought of everything so you don’t have to. Just bring your supplies, light the fire and slow down! Listen to the bird life, swim in the freshwater dam, get mud on your toes and remember to look up and watch the stars at night!
Pat Busch Mountain Reserve is a private nature reserve situated outside of Robertson in the Western Cape. The Reserve is home to unspoiled mountains and indigenous fynbos, including a rare Protea once believed to be extinct. It is a place to escape and slow down, to calm and recharge your soul.
Activities available on site
The nature reserve offers guided hikes, for those wanting to learn more about the plant life, and the holistic and healing properties of local fauna and flora.Other activities on offer include Mountain Bike Rental, fishing, kayaks and boating on the dam, a crystal clear salt water pool for guests to enjoy in the Summer months as well as guided wine tours of the Robertson Wine Valley.
