SWIMMING AND FISHING
IN OUR
FRESHWATER MOUNTAIN DAM
The mountain dam is a quick 5 minute walk from the guest cottages and farmhouses. There are one or two paddle boats for guests to enjoy. Guests can also bring along their own fishing equipment for bass fishing. Catch & Release only.
BIRDING
There is an abundant range of bird life on the nature reserve, over approx. 150 different species. Bring your own binoculars!
MOUNTAIN BIKING
Bring along your own mountain bike or hire one in the valley and explore the Klaasvoogds Meander.
4X4 ROUTE
Pat Busch Reserve offers a 4x4 route to overnight and day guests. Graded as a 4, by SA 4x4 Magazine, the trail is best attempted by an experienced driver. Permits available at RUSTICUS VINTAGE CELLAR. Tel 023 626 2033.
