About Us

Situated fifteen kilometers from the pretty Boland town of Robertson in the Klaasvoogds foothills of the Langeberg Mountains, the PAT BUSCH Private Nature Reserve is only one and a half hours scenic drive from Cape Town. Come explore the area and discover the many wonders our corner of the Boland has to offer.

The nature lover will have a wonderful opportunity to explore the hidden valleys and admire our 2000Ha of spectacular mountain scenery.

Our trails will appeal to those interested in birds, small antelope and indigenous fauna and flora. The Langeberg is home to a large variety of Fynbos such as proteas and ericas and other species including lilies, ferns and trees.

With patience you may see the several types of indigenous animals such as Duiker, Grysbok, Rhebok, Bush Buck, Cape Clawless Otter, Lynx, Baboon and even Leopard. A variety of game is also being re-introduced.

GUEST COMMENTS

Pat & Karin Busch, originally from Germany, were mesmerized by the Klaasvoogds Valley in 1966 and finally settled here in 1979. Since then the Nature Reserve & Farms have grown and now boast peach & apricot orchards, vineyards and blueberries – not to mention accommodation for over 50 people in self-catering cottages and houses.
